Michael Johnson

michael-featuredMichael is oldest of four children born to John and Grace Johnson. He grew up on a small grain farm in Alberta Canada. The nearest town of 200 people was nearly 6 miles away. But despite the long drive to the big city Michael was drawn to the performing arts at a young age.

As a creative and innovative thinker Michael stood out among his peers and consistently sought out ways to display his natural talent. In 1998 began a photography company called His Creation Studios, Inc. specializing in wedding and children’s photography, the business quickly spread throughout Western Canada and a few states in the U.S.

Always seeking new experiences and adventure Michael moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2001. Shortly afterward he enlisted into the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. A friend knew one of Michael’s dreams was to become a nurse and pushed him to start taking one class at a time. He faced many challenges, obstacles and failures along the way, but thanks to his focus and determination he was able to complete one of the largest accomplishments of his life. As a youngster Michael always struggled in school, and never earned a high school diploma.

Then in 2007, Michael moved to Phoenix, Arizona. In 2009 he graduated with his Associates degree in Nursing and later completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree with honors. Michael has always had a passion for helping others and a career in nursing was a perfect fit. In 2010 Michael was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy Reserve as a Nurse specializing in Emergency Trauma.

Catherine Hickland has been an inspiration in Michael’s life. She has encouraged him to step out of his box and obtain more of his life’s goals. Michael decided to take his Nursing experience and training to the next level and currently is working in Los Angeles, California as an Emergency/Trauma Nurse. To add to his passion in helping people, Michael became a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, although most of his skills he uses in the clinical setting, he also enjoys making people laugh and performs on stages as a hypnotist.

Michael recently returned from his deployment in Afghanistan working as a Trauma Nurse in a Military Combat Hospital. He used his hypnosis Skills and hypnotized over 250 soldiers and civilian contractors to aid with correcting personal issues, to include: PTSD, phobias, weight loss, nail biting, depression, goal setting, insomnia and so much more. Michael brought comedy relief by performing nine comedy hypnosis shows for the Military Base.
